Molfar Intelligence Firm (Molfar Limited) is an agency from Ukraine that focuses on intelligence gathering and OSINT investigation. We conduct commercial investigations in IT, Aerospace & Defence, tech, and innovation.

Molfar’s Growth Timeline

From our inception in 2019, Molfar has changed and adapted in response to client requests and social needs.

2019: Launching a For-Profit OSINT Agency

Molfar has started as a commercial-only company focused on private investigation and OSINT research.

2020-2021: Expanding Our Relationship Network

We’ve been recognized by major international organizations. Molfar has established partnerships with the American government-funded foreign aid agency USAID and the British market research firm Kantar. 

2022: Developing Our Social Mission

After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, we’ve responded to a social demand for justice using our resources. Molfar has created an evidence base that was used to inform sanctions against Russians, expose the identities of the war criminals and traitors, find children kidnapped by Russians, etc. Our team starts conducting investigations that attract the interest of Ukrainian and international news outlets. We had 300+ media mentions of our projects in 2021-2022 alone. 

2023: Getting Ownership Over an IT Media Outlet 

We have acquired AIN.UA, a major Ukrainian outlet about business and tech, to promote our public investigations and developments. Now, the company Molfar Limited over the business.

2024: Committing to OSINT Education

We’ve noticed a rising demand for the intelligence gathering training programs. Molfar team has used its insights to develop several OSINT courses for both beginners and advanced audiences. More than 7000 participants have learned from Molfar’s experience. Our specialists also took part in the introduction of OSINT and cybersecurity basics into a Ukrainian school curriculum.

2025: Establishing a Firm & Institute Ecosystem

We’ve decided to divide our for-profit and non-profit activities. Now, our non-commercial investigations are handled by Molfar Intelligence Institute, an educational platform dedicated to creating social impact for the benefit of Ukraine through intelligence services. 
Molfar Intelligence Firm (Molfar Limited) only handles commercial investigations for our clients. We provide a wide range of services using HUMINT, GEOINT, FININT, IMINT, etc.

What’s Our Mission? 

The goal of the Molfar Intelligence Firm is to protect the reputation of our clients. Our company conducts private investigations to help customers make decisions based on facts and become aware of risks in hiring, partnerships, and other aspects of business. We provide an independent viewpoint needed to expose illegal or immoral operation practices, such as fraud schemes, money laundering, unlawful acquisitions, due diligence issues, or to inform major strategic decisions like mergers, leadership hiring, new market entries, and more. 

What Are Our Principles?

  • Use only publicly available information to generate insights necessary to inform a client’s decision-making. 

  • Stay within the legal boundaries of the country where the investigation is conducted.

  • Trust facts first and foremost. We support all the statements mentioned in the reports with references to the intel resource. 

  • Respect a client’s right to confidentiality. Molfar doesn’t transfer customer data to third parties.

  • Follow the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our team is inclusive of people from any background. 

How Do We Work?

Do a client background check before signing a contract to avoid any conflict of interest.

Estimate the steps required to complete an investigation after getting a detailed task description.

Arrange a team of analysts who are most suited for a particular case. A task force will have at least one person who has a degree related to a client’s industry.

Fact-check all the findings. All research results are reviewed by the head of the department.

Keep all information related to the case confidential.

Refuse to conduct an investigation on our clients if it is requested by third parties within the next three years.
