Molfar explains why and how to check mining companies using publicly available data in the context of the rare mineral agreement.

An unknown person opened the website Saleidea.org: a kind of Ukrainian marketplace of cosmetics, household chemicals and dietary supplements. That is, all household treasure, which does not require registration and can be profitably resold.

We were able to find all the assets of the person’s family, all those who were involved in criminal and property schemes. We identified nearly a thousand law firms belonging to this family, found all undeclared property – land plots, houses, cars – and estimated its value.

Molfar was approached by a representative of the owner of a large agricultural holding, which operates in most central, southern and some eastern regions of Ukraine.

The Molfar team have collected insider information about the features of work, service, payment and use of services from the inside.

This is a background check for hiring and due diligence to understand all the risks involved. The task was completed in three stages.
