Molfar analysts have received documentary proof of the operations of the elite Senezh special forces and their crimes against the Ukrainian people. As a source in the intelligence services told us, Senezh has a "blood ritual" after their graduation: they, as members of subversive reconnaissance groups (SRG), are supposed to enter the territory of Ukraine and have to "bring a killed Ukrainian." If they fail to "bring" a soldier, then "they take a civilian."
Valentyna Andrushko ( her name has been changed for security reasons) from the village of Kostobobriv (1 km from the Russian border) lost her husband on January 10, 2024, during one of the Senezh attacks.
"He drove to take our son to the hospital. It was early and still dark. I was waiting for him to return, but he didn't. His phone was not answering, and there was shelling outside. I knew something terrible had happened before it was even confirmed. His car was completely shot up. There was not a single living thing left on it," said Valentyna, a resident of a village bordering Russia.
Now Valentyna lives alone in her house. Her two sons are now serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman is convinced that the Russians are responsible for her husband's death. They are conducting indiscriminate shelling and "raids" on Ukrainian territory.
"My workers and I were repairing the power grid on the outskirts of the village when we heard an FPV drone approaching. We scattered to avoid being targeted, to avoid crowds. It saved our lives. When we came back, our company car was on fire," Andriy Irkha, the village elder of Hremyach, says.
These are just a couple of the numerous cases that Ukrainian border village residents face daily. They live in constant anticipation of new attacks, never knowing when a Russian drone will show up on the horizon or when the next SRG will try to break over the border.
Elite Russian special forces who kill civilians
Ukrainian special services have been trying to hunt down the Senezh military for over a year because these special forces are classified as top-secret and highly dangerous.
The liquidation of the Russian Senezh military by the Ukrainian special services was the result of hard work and complexity, whose methods we cannot share, of course.
Before the news about the Senezh members were revealed in August, a month earlier, the Ukrainian special services had liquidated a "native citizen of a Buriat village", Ivan Afanasyev. But then the Ukrainian special services couldn't get the body of the liquidated soldier.
According to a special services source, the Ukrainian military was searching a forest area in the Chernihiv region and came across an SRG ambushed there. As a result of the close combat, the Russian militaries were injured and killed. Later, the Russians confirmed that major Afanasyev of the Senezh was liquidated.
Who is Senezh?
In March 1999, the 322nd GRU Training Center (military base 92154) was established in the Moscow region, which later became better known as the Senezh Special Forces Center. In 2009, the Special Operations Directorate, subordinate to the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (currently Valery Gerasimov), was established on the Senezh base. Senezh is one of the elite Russian Special Operations Forces (SOF) units.
The Senezh training center is based in the Moscow region (military base 99450) and includes a combat unit and a training center for military personnel. Similar centers are located in Kubinka (Moscow region) and Sevastopol (temporarily occupied Crimea).
According to the Russian media, the main areas of activity of this unit are:
— deep intelligence. Senezh gathers information in the rear (i.e., in the case of the Russian-Ukrainian war, they can penetrate the front line to try to obtain information about the Ukrainian Armed Forces);
— actions in the rear. Senezh can attack logistics lines, communication, command posts, etc., in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war;
— sabotage. Senezh destroys infrastructure, runs special missions such as psychological operations, and attempts to demoralize the military or residents.
So, it is a half-secret and elite group. A few videos are dedicated to the Senezh military unit on the Russian Special Forces' YouTube channel. We know they are engaged in "operations," for example, in Syria. Senezh conducted localized special operations, including targeting air strikes, training Bashar al-Assad's troops, and sabotage missions behind the front line. During the Syrian campaign, the Special Forces were involved in precision targeting operations and sabotage.
Occupied Crimea. "The Senezh acted without official identification as 'little green men,' which made it possible for Russia to annex the Crimea. Maybe they also acted in Donetsk and Luhansk regions in 2014-2015.
The border of Kharkiv and Sumy regions of Ukraine. In 2023, the Senezh military unit was relocated to the Belgorod region in Russia because of the intensification of the partisan movement in the area. Their primary mission was to conduct anti-sabotage operations and protect the border areas.
In general, groups such as Senezh are involved in sabotage and intelligence. In 2023, about 60 cases of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to break through the border were confirmed. One of the cases was an attempted penetration in the Kharkiv region, which borders the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. It was there that the Senezh special forces were based in 2023.
One of the intelligence and sabotage operations resulted in the death of 5 Senezh members on July 28, 2024.
Liquidation of Senezh soldiers: Who were they?
Information about the liquidated fighters of the Russian Senezh appeared on the Internet at the beginning of August this year.
Five Russians connected to Senezh were liquidated during the military operations in Chernihiv region in July 2024. All of them held officer ranks. Below are the names of the liquidated Senezh military.
During the investigation, a group on the Russian social network VK was found. That group gathered supporters of the Russian Federation's Senezh and possibly some members of this unit.

Their operations leave destruction and death in their wake, and most often, it is civilians living in the border area who suffer from their actions. Therefore, we can assume the terrorist nature of their actions.
