In January 2021, AIN magazine published an investigation by the Molfar team, according to which the real name of the Russian web artist Duran is Bair Radnaev. Bair was born in Zaigrayevo urban-type settlement in Buryatia, graduated from Novosibirsk State University, and has been living and working under the pseudonym Duran in St. Petersburg since 2013.
Duran has never revealed his identity, remaining anonymous for more than a decade. Molfar team discovered the artist’s true name within 48 hours. We used information from public sources and the author's public pages, data from the register of taxpayers and OSINT technologies to conduct a report. The artist himself confirmed his identity shortly after the publication.
