Russians bombard Kharkiv several times a day, using heavy artillery, rockets, ballistic missiles, and guided bombs (KABs). On May 31, 2024, at least 5 people were killed and 25 were injured due to Russian shelling. The attacks often result in fires that destroy residential buildings and critical infrastructure.

On December 29, 2023, the Russian Federation conducted a massive rocket barrage and drone attack. In Kharkiv, at least one civilian was killed and 62 were injured, including six children.

On May 31, 2024, the Russian army carried out a "double strike" on a densely populated residential area in Kharkiv. At least five people were killed, and 25 were injured. Among the dead were a medical worker, a policewoman, and children aged 11 and 12.

On May 25, 2024, there was a strike at the "Epicenter" hypermarket. Russia launched a massive rocket attack around 4 p.m.At that time, there were about 120 people in the hypermarket. The fire covered 13,000 square meters and lasted for 16 hours. Nineteen people died, including a 17-year-old teenager, and 54 people were injured.

Shelling in May 2024. Russians attacked Vovchansk, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians and injuries to 2 more. Approximately 2,500 people were evacuated from dangerous areas.

On June 26, 2024, there was a strike on Derhachi in the Kharkiv region. The explosion occurred in the city around 3:30 p.m. Russians hit the city with three aerial bombs, which landed in two districts in the yards of residential buildings. Fifty private homes were destroyed, and 12 people were reported injured.

It is likely that the majority of these attacks are linked to the Russians listed by Molfar above. Their military unit is one of those that regularly receive orders to bomb Kharkiv. Each individual on this list is involved in numerous war crimes. They knowingly carry out criminal orders, but they must also recognize the inevitability of punishment for these crimes.
